Compositor: Jackson Diey
The city was spinning too fast
And all I wanted was to sit
You looked at me like silence
Half drunk, half laughing
And gave your shoulder like home
The traffic guards just stood nearby
Horns, lights, and passing noise
But between sips and glances
You whispered: I got you
And I believed it without asking why
It wasn’t love, it wasn’t wild
It was care in the middle of chaos
We laughed for no reason
And somehow, that kept me breathing
We were strangers with no name
But your arm felt like a place
Not a promise, not forever
Just a night that held some grace
No maps, no music playing
But I still found peace in you
On a sidewalk under streetlight truth
I healed beside you
There was no plan, no reason
Just two men slowing time
One held space, the other fell into it
Without shame, without needing to explain
If I never see you again
Know this night stayed with me
Because you held me
Like people don't do anymore
We were strangers with no name
But your arm felt like a place
Not a promise, not forever
Just a night that held some grace
No maps, no music playing
But I still found peace in you
On a sidewalk under streetlight truth
I healed beside you
